Location: The Learning Experience - Ledgewood, NJ
Pay: $17.00-$18.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday
Classroom: Preppers (Ages 2.5-3)

The Learning Experience - Ledgewood is hiring an Early Childhood Teacher for our Preppers classroom!
We're looking for a caring, energetic educator who enjoys helping children reach developmental milestones, build friendships, and explore the world through hands-on learning.
What You'll Do
- Plan and support daily classroom activities for children ages 2.5-3
- Implement The Learning Experience's L.E.A.P. Curriculum
- Encourage language development, independence, and positive social interactions
- Engage children through art, music, movement, sensory play, and hands-on activities
- Support toilet training, meals, rest time, and daily transitions
- Maintain consistent routines and use positive behavior guidance
- Observe developmental milestones and communicate with families
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and center leadership
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom
- Follow New Jersey childcare licensing, health, and safety requirements
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous professional childcare, daycare, or preschool experience preferred
- Experience with children ages 2-3 is a plus
- CDA or Early Childhood Education coursework preferred but not required
- Patient, dependable, nurturing, and comfortable working as part of a team
- Must meet applicable New Jersey childcare licensing requirements
