    Position Details:

    • LOA Coverage | Aug 3–Nov 30, 2026

    • 4 days per week 

    • 32 hours (Monday–Thursday)

    • Serving multiple schools in Eastern CO
       

    About the Role

    Hello ECSE Teachers! Ampersand Therapy is hiring a Hybrid Early Childhood Special Education Teacher in Kiowa, CO. In this role, you'll provide specialized instruction, conduct assessments, develop IEPs, and collaborate with families and school teams to support student growth. This hybrid opportunity allows remote completion of paperwork and IEP meetings, while direct services and assessments must be completed in person.

    What You'll Do

    • Develop and implement IEPs tailored to student needs

    • Provide specialized ECSE instruction across academic subjects

    • Manage classroom behavior and create a structured, supportive environment

    • Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families

    • Monitor student progress and adjust instruction accordingly

    • Write progress reports and maintain compliant documentation

    • Adapt curriculum and teaching strategies for diverse learning needs

    • Incorporate technology and resources to enhance learning
       

    What We're Looking For

    • Valid Colorado Department of Education (CDE) Special Education license/endorsement

    • Strong collaboration, organization, and communication skills

    • Experience with early childhood preferred

    • School-based experience preferred, not required
