    Early Childhood Program Teacher’s Aide (Infant & Young Toddler)
     
    The Academy of the Sacred Heart is seeking enthusiastic, dedicated, nurturing team members to join our community. This position works with children from birth to age 3 in our Early Childhood Program. Team members foster a warm, engaging, and developmentally appropriate classroom supporting each child’s growth, exploration, and love for learning.
     
    Primary Responsibilities:
    • Create an emotionally responsive, caring, positive, and accepting environment supportive of the individual development of each child and family
    • Supervise young children and ensure a safe and loving environment, including the ability to monitor and respond to events going on, at all times, in the classroom, outdoor play areas, and other areas of the campus
    • Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students' varying needs and interests
    General Competencies:
    • Completion of Protecting God's Children training, other health-related trainings (including, but not limited to CPR/First Aid), and fingerprints on file 
    • Excellent communication skills 
    • Punctuality and dependability
    • Adherence to all personnel policies, procedures, and rules
    • Maintain productive and professional relationships with other Sacred Heart faculty and staff members
    • Preference is given to applicants who have an educational background and experience in the field
