Develop and maintain an effective educational program consistent with State and Federal guidelines and the philosophy, policies and goals of the School Board; maintain records and files; prepare reports and presentations.
• Assist in the planning and implementation of a systematic method of supervising the instructional program through the use of learning walks, observations, documentations, and follow-up conferences. • Assist in evaluating methods and materials and developing effective learning plans and classroom techniques. • Assist in the coordination and supervision of supportive services. • Create and implement instructional professional learning experiences. • Supports successful implementation of district curriculum through coaching and professional development. • Monitor performance against implementation and performance indicators. • Develop communication for data-driven decision making on a system-wide basis. • Design system planning and focused improvement strategies: structures and processes. • Support professional learning communities. • Progress monitor sites to remain ODE SUTQ 5-Star rated. • Analyze data to provide professional development and supports to support Quality Improvement. • Completes and maintains requirements to ensure compliance for federal, state and local reviews. • Collect and coordinate data for PIR to ensure compliance to Grantor. • Monitor approved ODE Step Up to Quality OCCRRA trainings; ensure all staff has updated requirements. • Completes follow-up visits to ensure corrective actions have been completed in a timely manner. • Maintains on-going record keeping to ensure all sites have been reviewed. • Work closely with district leaders, principals, certificated and civil service personnel to ensure compliance with ODE Step Up to Quality requirements. • Participate in District and Department meetings along with other meetings related to position and focus. • Adheres to and follows policies and procedures as established by the CPS Board of Education and Early Childhood Department. • All other duties as assigned.
