The Learning Experience- Billerica is hiring Early Childhood Lead Teachers to join our team. If you're an experienced educator who enjoys leading a classroom, building relationships with families, and helping young children thrive, we want to meet you.
Opportunities may be available across our Infant, Toddler, and Preschool programs based on your experience, qualifications, and classroom preference.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead an engaging and developmentally appropriate early childhood classroom
- Create meaningful learning experiences through play, exploration, art, music, movement, and hands-on activities
- Implement The Learning Experience's L.E.A.P. Curriculum
- Support language, cognitive, physical, and social-emotional development
- Establish positive classroom routines and provide consistent guidance
- Observe children's development and maintain required documentation
- Mentor and collaborate with Assistant Teachers
- Build strong relationships and communicate regularly with families
- Maintain a safe, welcoming, and organized classroom
- Follow Massachusetts EEC requirements
Qualifications
- Must meet Massachusetts EEC requirements to serve as a Lead Teacher
- Professional childcare, daycare, preschool, or early childhood experience required
- Infant-Toddler and/or Preschool qualifications welcomed
- Lead Teacher or classroom leadership experience preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Flexible, dependable, and passionate about working with young children
