Early Childhood Intervention Specialist - Summit Preschool Program, Multiple Openings, 2026-2027 School Year
Term: 2026-2027 School Year
Qualifications and Possible Job Duties Include:
- Bachelor''s Degree in Education required
- Ohio SBOE Licensure that includes preschool general education and special education (or ability to obtain) is required - if not currently dual licensed, must be eligible for supplemental or endorsement for missing element (general education or special education)
- Previous experience in working with students with special needs
- Successful completion of all pre-employment screenings
- Alternatives to the above as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable
- Work effectively with children diagnosed with special needs and behavior challenges in an alternative educational program
- Provides for individual differences through an individualized educational program that is evidenced in daily planning, class activities, and assessment goals
- Provide appropriate educational activities and opportunities for children with a goal of enhancing their educational, social, and emotional growth
- Maintains effective communication and collaboration with administration, district of residence, and families concerning matters related to students in the program
- All other duties as assigned
Salary: Salary schedule placement commensurate with experience and training.
