Early Childhood Instructional Assistant

Clinton Elementary School is seeking an Instructional Assistant to work in classrooms supporting the needs of students. The ideal candidate will have experience working with early/elementary aged children supporting them with academics, behavior, and social emotional needs.

Responsibilities will include: Assisting the teacher with the day to day routine. Supporting students with self regulation and academics. Maintaining a safe learning environment. Collaborating with others including staff in the room. Supporting preparation of the classroom. Maintaining a safe and orderly classroom environment. Following and supporting behavior plans as needed. Following direction and supervision of a classroom teacher/administration. Assisting students in areas such as hygiene, eating, organization and other developmentally necessary areas. Available to help support individual students who require additional assistance to access the curriculum.

Job Requirements: Minimum of an Associate's Degree or passing of the Parapro test
