Early Childhood Gym Teacher / Lead Gym Teacher
My Gym Children’s Fitness Center is looking for an energetic, passionate, and dedicated Gym Teacher to join our team! If you love working with young children, enjoy being active, and aren’t afraid to be silly and have fun, we’d love to meet you.
What You’ll Do
As a Lead Gym Teacher, you’ll work closely with the Gym Director to help manage daily operations while creating a fun, engaging, and supportive environment for children and their families.
- Lead and assist with children’s fitness and gymnastics classes
- Create positive, memorable experiences for children and families
- Build strong relationships with parents and provide excellent customer service
- Help train, motivate, and communicate with team members
- Assist with strategies to grow enrollment and retain families
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming gym environment
- Help oversee daily operations and address parent or customer concerns
What We’re Looking For
- Experience working with young children in an organized setting
- Leadership or management experience preferred
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Positive, energetic, and team-oriented attitude
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Comfortable being active, silly, and having fun in front of children and parents
- Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and frequently lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand and remain active for extended periods, up to 6 hours
- Background in dance, theater, kinesiology, gymnastics, or a related field is a plus
