JOB SUMMARY
Under the direction of the Student Service Supervisor - Early Childhood Program, the Early Childhood Education Coordinator for Curriculum and Staff Development will support the Preschool Program operated by the ESC of Lake Erie West. The Coordinator will work directly with teachers, educational aides, and substitute teachers to ensure high quality classroom instruction, support evidence-based practices including data collection and reporting, and support the creation of Individualized Education Programs (IEP) for each child. The Coordinator will serve as a mentor to new staff. In addition, the coordinator will develop, implement, and document a program of professional learning focused on continuous improvement. The Coordinator will also assist in ensuring all preschool program sites meet the highest requirements of Ohio's Step Up to Quality program.
