Responsibilities:- Oversee daily operations of the early childhood learning center, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment
- Supervise, mentor, and evaluate teaching staff and support personnel
- Ensure compliance with state licensing regulations and early childhood education standards
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum and educational programming
- Manage enrollment, family communications, and parent engagement initiatives
- Maintain accurate records including staff files, child development documentation, and licensing paperwork
- Coordinate staff scheduling, training, and professional development opportunities
Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field preferred
- 2+ years of experience in an early childhood education leadership or administrative role
- Knowledge of Delaware childcare licensing regulations and NAEYC standards
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Experience with curriculum planning and child development best practices
- Warm, professional demeanor with a genuine passion for early childhood education
