    Our client, a mission-driven public media organization, is seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to support its President and CEO. The successful candidate will be a polished, highly organized professional who can manage competing priorities, exercise excellent judgment, and communicate effectively with senior executives, board members, donors, and community leaders. This position requires a proactive and discreet individual who thrives in a collaborative, mission-oriented environment.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Manage the President and CEO’s calendar, appointments, and meeting schedule

    • Coordinate meetings and ensure the executive is prepared with relevant information and materials

    • Manage phone and email correspondence, prioritizing and responding as appropriate

    • Serve as a key liaison between the President and CEO and the Board of Trustees

    • Coordinate board-related meetings, communications, and materials

    • Liaise professionally with internal teams, donors, community leaders, and other external stakeholders

    • Track priorities, follow-ups, and deadlines on behalf of the executive

    • Handle sensitive and confidential information with the utmost discretion

    • Provide additional administrative and project support as needed

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred

    • Approximately 10+ years of senior-level executive support experience

    • Prior experience supporting a President, CEO, or other senior executive

    • Nonprofit, arts, culture, media, or similarly mission-driven experience is highly preferred

    • Strong calendar management, organizational, and prioritization skills

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

    • Polished and professional demeanor with strong interpersonal skills

    • Ability to work independently, anticipate needs, and manage multiple priorities

    • Sound judgment, discretion, and attention to detail

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

    SALARY

    Up to $125K, depending on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package. No additional bonus.

    HOURS

    9:00 AM–5:00 PM
    The position is based in Manhattan and will require approximately 3–4 days per week in the office during the first six months. The schedule is expected to transition to two days per week in the office thereafter. Occasional flexibility may be required based on the President and CEO’s schedule.
