Compensation: $150,000 - $200,000 + Bonus

Our client is a rapidly growing specialty insurance platform focused on commercial property risks across the United States. Backed by an experienced leadership team and supported by modern underwriting technology, the organization has built a strong reputation for delivering creative solutions in challenging property markets.

They are seeking an E&S Property Underwriter to join their expanding team. This individual will play a key role in evaluating, structuring, and underwriting a diverse portfolio of commercial property business while helping drive continued growth across the platform.

What You'll Do

• Underwrite commercial property risks with a focus on habitational and real estate-driven exposures, including apartments, condominiums, mixed-use properties, and other residential portfolios
• Evaluate submissions, analyze risk characteristics, and determine appropriate pricing and coverage structures
• Manage broker relationships and serve as a trusted underwriting resource throughout the submission and renewal process
• Own a portfolio of business while balancing profitability, growth, and underwriting discipline
• Work closely with underwriting leadership to identify new opportunities and respond to changing market conditions
• Utilize proprietary systems and technology to streamline underwriting workflows and operational efficiency

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of commercial property underwriting experience, preferably within the E&S market
• Experience underwriting habitational, real estate, or middle-market property risks
• Strong understanding of property coverage, pricing, and risk selection
• Established broker relationships and a track record of business development
• Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment
• Strong analytical, communication, and decision-making skills
