ABOUT THE ROLEA financial services organization is seeking a consultant to support the implementation of an enterprise e-communications surveillance and recordkeeping framework. This role will focus on developing first-line-of-defense processes, governance, controls, and technology requirements, with a key emphasis on automated reconciliation across communication channels and archiving systems. The consultant will work closely with business, compliance, and technology stakeholders to drive implementation from design through testing, deployment, and transition to ongoing operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Design and implement a first-line-of-defense recordkeeping framework and target operating model, including process flows, governance structures, control requirements, and resource considerations.
- Develop an automated reconciliation process that connects communications requiring journalization and surveillance with corresponding archived records across platforms and business channels.
- Translate business, regulatory, and control requirements into process documentation, RACI matrices, business requirements, mock-ups, and technical implementation specifications.
- Partner with business and technology teams throughout solution development, testing, and implementation.
- Support project roadmaps, user acceptance testing, issue resolution, and deployment readiness.
- Coordinate change management, training, and operational handover to ensure the framework is successfully embedded into business-as-usual processes.
- Apply established control and governance practices to support effective oversight and sustainable operating procedures.
