E-Commerce Specialist & Web Developer

Use AI coding and automation tools to develop integrations, automate repetitive tasks, improve product data, and enhance website functionality. Assist customers with product information, online orders, website questions, and route sales opportunities to the appropriate team member.

Position Overview


We are seeking a hands-on E-Commerce Specialist & Web Developer to manage and grow our e-commerce websites. This position combines product/catalog management, web development, AI-assisted development and automation, and customer support.  This is an on-site position based at our Kearny, New Jersey location. 


Responsibilities

• Create, update, and maintain product listings, pricing, images, specifications, categories, and collections on Shopify and other e-commerce platforms.
• Manage bulk product imports, exports, and updates using CSV/Excel.
• Maintain and improve Shopify and other websites using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Shopify Liquid, and related technologies.
• Build and maintain APIs and integrations between websites, inventory/ERP/CRM systems, vendors, and other platforms.
• Use AI coding and automation tools to develop integrations, automate repetitive tasks, improve product data, and enhance website functionality.
• Experience with WordPress, WooCommerce, Magento, or similar platforms is a plus.
• Improve website navigation, search, product pages, speed, technical SEO, analytics, and conversion tracking.
• Troubleshoot website, app, checkout, product-feed, and integration issues.
• Monitor and respond to website chats, emails, contact forms, and inbound phone calls.
• Assist customers with product information, online orders, website questions, and route sales opportunities to the appropriate team member.
• Work closely with sales, operations, and management on e-commerce initiatives.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of e-commerce, web development, or related professional experience.
• Hands-on experience with Shopify or another major e-commerce platform.
• Experience managing large product catalogs and product data.
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, APIs, and system integrations.
• Experience using AI-assisted coding/development tools.
• Strong Excel/CSV and data-management skills.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and comfortable communicating with customers by chat, email, and phone.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and learn new technologies quickly.
