Salary: $120,000 - $145,000 per year

A bit about us:

We are a growing health and wellness company developing nutritional supplements for digestive, immune, cellular, mitochondrial, and detoxification support. Our business serves both healthcare practitioners and consumers, combining in-house scientific capabilities with practitioner education and digital commerce.

We’re seeking a Technical Product Owner to lead the roadmap for our Shopify storefronts and connected marketing technology. You’ll partner with commercial and marketing leaders to shape the practitioner-to-patient digital experience, turn business needs into technical requirements, and guide work with engineering and DevOps teams from discovery through release.

This is a hands-on product role. You’ll own priorities, requirements, integrations, and acceptance testing while managing functional Shopify configuration and troubleshooting.

Why join us?

This is an opportunity to shape how practitioners and patients interact with a growing company online. You’ll have meaningful ownership of the e-commerce experience and marketing technology, with direct access to commercial and marketing leaders and close collaboration with development and DevOps teams.

The role offers flexibility to work remotely or in a hybrid arrangement, along with the opportunity to improve the systems and customer journeys that support the company’s continued growth.

Job Details

Responsibilities
  • Own the technical product roadmap and prioritized backlog for Shopify, web properties, and connected MarTech.
  • Work with commercial, marketing, sales, and brand stakeholders to understand business goals and map practitioner and patient journeys.
  • Translate business needs into workflows, system requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical priorities.
  • Lead delivery with developers and DevOps, clarifying dependencies and coordinating work through testing and release.
  • Manage Shopify platform functionality, including configuration, app integrations, themes, product discovery, and checkout improvements.
  • Guide integrations and data flows between Shopify, CRM, marketing automation, analytics, and customer data platforms.
  • Partner with QA and business users on testing and UAT; confirm that enhancements meet requirements before launch.
  • Use performance and customer data to prioritize improvements to conversion, checkout completion, site experience, and adoption.
  • Support effective Agile, release, and CI/CD practices, including appropriate use of AI tools for documentation and testing.

Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years in technical product ownership, digital product management, e-commerce business analysis, or a related role.
  • Experience owning a digital product roadmap and prioritizing an engineering backlog.
  • Hands-on Shopify or Shopify Plus experience with platform functionality, apps, themes, or checkout—not only content and merchandising.
  • Proven ability to turn business requests into technical requirements, user stories, workflows, and acceptance criteria.
  • Experience working directly with developers or engineering teams through delivery, QA/UAT, and release.
  • Experience with e-commerce integrations and data flows involving CRM, marketing automation, or analytics platforms.
  • Familiarity with Agile delivery, CI/CD concepts, and testing and deployment workflows.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work across commercial, marketing, and technical teams.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Klaviyo, GA4, Google Tag Manager, or a customer data platform.
  • Working knowledge of Shopify theme customization and Liquid.
  • Experience with healthcare, practitioner, patient, or other account-based purchasing journeys.
  • Familiarity with AI tools for requirements, documentation, or testing.
  • Experience measuring conversion, checkout completion, site performance, or customer adoption.
