Dyno Maintenance Engineer - Motorsports Industry Leader
Location: Santa Clarita, CA
Weekly Flat Rate: $1,826.92 - $2,019.23 (DOE)
Our client, a premier motorsports company based in Santa Clarita, is urgently seeking a Dyno Maintenance Engineer to oversee and enhance the performance of their cutting-edge testing facilities. This is a high-impact role supporting elite racing programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct efficient testing and evaluation of engines, chassis gearboxes, components, and electrical systems
- Maintain and improve testing hardware and dyno capabilities to meet evolving business needs
- Propose, plan, and implement upgrades to the company's dynos and associated equipment
- Collaborate with vendors and contractors to manage test facility operations and maintenance
- Allocate staff resources based on project scope, timing, and required skill sets
- Manage budgets for the operation and upkeep of sophisticated testing equipment
- Develop and maintain project schedules using Microsoft Project or similar tools
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience specifying, evaluating, and selecting testing equipment
- Proven project management experience with external vendors and contractors
- Strong planning, organizational, and scheduling skills
- Proficiency in budgeting and resource allocation for technical operations
- Experience with project scheduling software (e.g., Microsoft Project)
- Detail-oriented and capable of working under pressure in a fast-paced, multicultural environment
- Self-directed with minimal supervision and strong problem-solving abilities
