Position Overview

1. The Department is seeking an experienced Dynamics 365 GCC Case Management Applications Architect to design, develop, secure, and support mission-critical Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solutions within a Microsoft Government Community Cloud (GCC) environment.

This role will serve as the technical lead for Dynamics 365 Case Management, Power Platform architecture, application integrations, Azure DevOps ALM processes, and governance initiatives. The Architect will collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, compliant, and user-centric solutions supporting the Department's operational and regulatory requirements.


Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Dynamics 365 Case Management solutions.
• Configure and manage Dataverse entities/tables, relationships, forms, views, business rules, workflows, and security roles.
• Design and implement Power Platform solutions, including: 
  • Power Apps (Model-Driven & Canvas)
  • Power Pages
  • Power Automate
• Develop and maintain integrations using: 
  • Azure Logic Apps
  • Dataverse Connectors
  • REST/OData APIs
  • SharePoint Online
• Establish and maintain Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) practices utilizing Azure DevOps.
• Manage solution packaging, deployment pipelines, branching strategies, and environment promotion.
• Implement governance, security, DLP policies, role-based access controls, and auditing procedures.
• Support performance optimization, monitoring, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with business users, technical teams, and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver enhancements.
• Create technical documentation, architecture diagrams, SOPs, and knowledge transfer materials.
• Mentor technical teams and provide ongoing support and guidance.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE) and Dataverse experience.
• Experience designing and supporting Dynamics 365 Case Management solutions.
• Strong Power Platform experience: 
  • Power Apps
  • Power Pages
  • Power Automate
  • Dataverse
• Experience integrating Dynamics 365 with: 
  • Azure Logic Apps
  • Azure Functions
  • SharePoint Online
  • External systems using REST/OData APIs
• Strong Azure DevOps experience:

  • Solution-Based Deployments
• Experience implementing security, governance, auditing, and DLP policies.
• Strong stakeholder communication and requirements-gathering skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Microsoft Power Platform Solution Architect Expert Certification.
• Dynamics 365 Customer Service Functional Consultant Certification.
• Azure DevOps Engineer Expert Certification.
• Experience working in Microsoft Government Community Cloud (GCC).
• Familiarity with FedRAMP and CJIS compliance requirements.
• Experience with Agile methodologies.
• Experience developing secure applications within regulated government environments.
