General Description and Classification Standards:
Performs semi-skilled work in the Department of Watershed Management. Responsible for the correct, safe and efficient locating of underground water distribution and sewer collection and conveyance infrastructure owned and operated by the City of Atlanta.
Supervision Received:
Works with minimal supervision, manages own time effectively, maintains control over all current projects/responsibilities. Follows up on all relevant issues.

Minimum Qualifications:
Education and Experience - High school diploma, or equivalent and a minimum of one (1) year utility locate experience.
Licensures and Certifications - Valid Georgia driver''s license.
Preferred Requirements -Three (3) years of experience locating underground utilities.
Work Environment:
Required physical, lifting, and sensory capabilities are requirements to perform the job successfully. Typical environmental conditions associated with job. Must be able and willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions Must be available to work overtime and weekends (as needed).
Lifting Requirements:
Light work: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force to move objects.
