    An established small animal care facility in Port Orchard, Washington is seeking a dedicated Veterinarian Urgent Care to join its expanding medical team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to provide high-quality, same-day care for pets with non-critical needs—bridging the gap between daytime general practice and overnight emergency services. The ideal candidate is compassionate, adaptable, and motivated to deliver timely, thoughtful medical care while maintaining a strong focus on client communication and patient comfort.

     

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide efficient, high-quality care for pets presenting with urgent but non-life-threatening conditions

    • Diagnose, treat, and manage a variety of medical and minor surgical cases

    • Communicate effectively with clients to ensure understanding and trust in care decisions

    • Maintain detailed medical records and uphold best practices in all aspects of patient care

    • Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment that supports collaboration and learning

     

    Qualifications:

    • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree

    • Eligibility for licensure in the state of Washington

    • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
