Duty Aide - High School

We are seeking a reliable and student-focused Duty Aide to support the daily supervision and orderly operation of a high school environment in South Plainfield, NJ. This role helps maintain a safe, respectful, and productive atmosphere by monitoring student movement, assisting staff, and responding to routine needs throughout the school day. The ideal candidate is dependable, attentive, and able to communicate calmly with students and staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise hallways, common areas, cafeterias, entrances, and other assigned locations during the school day
• Help maintain student safety, order, and appropriate behavior in accordance with school expectations
• Assist with student traffic during arrival, dismissal, passing periods, and special events
• Support teachers, administrators, and support staff with routine monitoring and logistical needs
• Address minor issues promptly and report concerns or incidents to the appropriate school personnel

Other Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
