Plant Operations Manager
My client is a global organization with a large domestic presence, manufacturing various precision metal-fabricated products used in fastening and assembly solutions. With a large focus on the automotive sector, the company has worked hard to maintain and build upon the momentum they established and are looking for a tenured plant operations manager to continue to drive growth, operational efficiency, and manage the site wide P&Ls
Job Description
- Lead day to day production operations, driving OEE
- Manage all operational KPIs tied to efficiency, quality, safety, productivity, headcount and more
- Manage site level P&L and cost reduction initiatives
- Lead all Lean/CI projects - running with corporate directives but also finding new solutions
- Maintain plant certifications for ISO9001 and IATF16949
- Align plant strategy with corporate and global strategy

The Successful Applicant
- 7+ years of manufacturing/plant management experience
- Full P&L responsibility REQUIRED
- Experience with Presses, or tightly controlled, precision manufacturing
- Ability to lead cross functional teams
- Strong Attention to Detail
- A Career focused on Lean/CI/Process improvement
- Ability to communicate with executive leadership on a site and global level
- Experience with New Product Development and Introduction
- Automotive background a plus
- MBA/Advanced degrees a plus
