We are looking for a dedicated individual to join our Sr. Management Team as the Dual Sales and Catering Manager for Hyatt House Brier Creek and Fairfield Brier Creek.

As the Dual Sales and Catering Manager, you will be responsible for direct sales efforts of high-volume producing accounts and growing existing accounts in various markets to maximize revenue and RevPar indexes.
Job Responsibilities:
Maintain a solid knowledge of occupancy trends and hotel availability in order to aid General Manager with yield management goals.
Prospect new business using wedding venues, city wide events, universities, sports, churches, etc.
Conduct hotel site tours, presentations, and client relationship-building activities.
Produce weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual activity and booking reports required by the corporate office.
Work collaboratively with the Front Office, Housekeeping, and Operations teams to ensure group
success
Ensure proper execution of group blocks, cutoff dates, billing arrangements, and service
requirements.
Use and maintain approved database to keep in touch with current and past clients.
Create and distribute group resumes, rooming lists, and event details
Develop and maintain sales and marketing plans.
Supervise the property's sales department and take responsibility for achieving hotel revenue goals.
Enhance public and community relations.
Maintain and support the implementation of all CMC policies and procedures.
Maintain required Marriott and Hyatt brand training certifications.
Job Requirements:
Minimum 4 years sales experience in the hospitality industry.
Market knowledge of the Raleigh/Cary area highly desired.
Bachelor's degree preferred.
Excellent communication skills both oral and written.
Must be a strong leader, self-motivator and team builder.
Passion for hotel sales.
Office hours 7:30am - 4:30pm, and as needed with weekends and after hours with group
business
