POSITION SUMMARY
The Dual Enrollment Advisor utilizes a case-management advising model to support high school students in achieving academic, career, and college readiness goals. This position provides comprehensive advising, enrollment support, and academic planning while serving as a liaison between the College, ISD partners, students, and families to promote student success and seamless transition to higher education.

Fingerprinting is a requirement for the local ISDs per Texas Education Agency. Alvin College will reimburse the estimated cost of $50, if applicable.

Do you have a bachelors degree in Education, Counseling, or a related field?

Do you have two (2) years of advising, counseling, or student success support experience with high school or college populations.?

Do you have two (2) years of experience in student services at a community college or university?

Do you have experience working with Dual Enrollment, college readiness, or early college programs?

Do you have a familiarity with Colleague, Skyward, or similar student information systems?

Do you have the ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and off-campus assignments as needed?
