Role Overview

• Full-time, Monday-Friday
• Hours 8-5 (minimum 6 hours in-person and available by phone until 5pm)
• Typical case load 14-16 patients/day
• Provide psychiatric patient care to adults (18+) in an inpatient setting
• Conduct psychiatric evaluations, diagnostic assessments, and mental status examinations
• Diagnose and treat psychiatric, behavioral, and neurocognitive disorders
• Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications
• Evaluate behavioral and safety concerns
• Provide interventions and behavioral management
• Medical management
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams across care settings.

Qualifications

• PMHNP-BC and FNP or other primary care NP 
• Active, unrestricted Tennessee license as a PMHNP and FNP
• Active DEA 
• Minimum of 1-year experience as a PMHNP and FNP provider, preferably in an in-patient setting.
