Responsibilities:- Supervise and support Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) in daily operations and client care.
- Conduct regular training sessions to enhance staff skills and knowledge.
- Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided to clients, ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Coordinate and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with clients and families.
- Facilitate team meetings to discuss client progress and address any concerns.
- Assist in recruitment, onboarding, and performance evaluations of DSP staff.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to client care and staff performance.
- Promote a positive work culture that encourages teamwork and professional growth.
Requirements:- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory role within the human services field.
- Valid CPR and First Aid certification required.
- Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage a diverse team.
- Knowledge of developmental disabilities and person-centered care practices.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- Compassionate demeanor with a commitment to enhancing the lives of individuals with disabilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with care management software.
