    Job Summary:
    Part Time
    We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Direct Support Professional on Wednesdays and possible weekends. As a Direct Support Professional, you will provide essential care and support to individuals in need, ensuring their safety, well-being, and overall quality of life. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others.
    Responsibilities:
    - Provide direct care and support to individuals in accordance with their personalized care plans
    - Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
    - Prepare and serve meals based on individual dietary needs and preferences
    - Administer medications as prescribed and monitor for any adverse reactions
    - Monitor vital signs and report any significant changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals
    - Foster a safe and supportive environment that respects the rights and dignity of each individual
    - Assist with transportation to medical appointments, social outings, or other necessary errands
    - Collaborate with healthcare professionals, social workers, and family members to ensure comprehensive care for each individual
    - Provide emotional support and companionship to individuals in need
    - Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and any observations or incidents
    Qualifications:
    - Previous experience in caregiving or related roles is preferred
    - Knowledge of resident rights and regulations governing care facilities is a plus
    - Familiarity with medication administration procedures is desired
    - Ability to take accurate vital signs is beneficial
    - Experience in hospice care or home care settings is advantageous
    - Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with individuals of diverse backgrounds
    - Compassionate nature and genuine desire to help others
    - Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
