The Patch Boys of Kansas City is seeking a skilled and reliable Drywall Repair Technician to join our growing team. This role focuses on residential drywall repair, installation, and finishing, with an emphasis on delivering high-quality results and excellent customer service.
Our technicians work directly in customers’ homes, so professionalism, cleanliness, and strong communication are essential.
Responsibilities
- Hang, install, patch, repair, and finish drywall
- Match and apply various textures seamlessly
- Perform painting and finishing work after repairs
- Maintain a clean and professional job site
- Communicate clearly with homeowners and ensure satisfaction
- Transport tools and materials to job sites
- Complete jobs efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards
Requirements
Must-Have Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of drywall experience (hanging, patching, finishing, and repair)
- Ability to match textures and complete paint finishing
- Own hand tools, power tools, and drywall equipment
- Reliable truck or van capable of transporting materials
- Clean driving record
- Comfortable with background check and drug screening
- Availability Monday through Friday (some Saturdays optional)
- Strong professionalism, appearance, and cleanliness
Nice to Have:
- Trim work experience
- General remodeling experience
- Advanced knowledge of texture application
