We are hiring an Associate Insurance Agent for a local insurance agency. You'll help clients pick the right auto, home, life, commercial, and farm coverage, and a big part of the job is explaining it in a way that makes sense to them. If you like sales but care more about taking care of people than closing a quick deal, you'll do well here.
You don't need a license to apply. If you don't have your Property and Casualty license yet, the agency will sponsor you to get it within 60 days of hire.
Year one pay starts at $47,700, and $70,000 is a realistic target if you put in the work. Agents who stick with it are well into six figures by year three.

Requirements
- High school diploma.
- Sales experience.
- Property and Casualty license preferred, or willingness to get licensed within 60 days.
- Strong communication and problem solving skills.
- Comfortable with computers and CRM software.
Responsibilities
- Meet with clients to review their risks and explain coverage options.
- Prepare quotes and present policy options.
- Process new applications, renewals, and policy changes.
- Keep client records up to date in the CRM.
- Help clients through the claims process and work with adjusters on their behalf.
- Coordinate with underwriters and carriers on paperwork.
