Drywall Project Manager – Commercial Interiors

A respected commercial drywall and interior systems contractor in Minneapolis is hiring a Project Manager to lead projects from award through closeout. The company self-performs metal framing, drywall, and acoustical ceilings on office, healthcare, education, and multifamily projects throughout the metro.

What You'll Do

• Manage multiple commercial drywall, framing, and ACT projects from turnover to closeout
• Build and maintain project schedules in coordination with general contractors and field leadership
• Own project budgets, cost tracking, forecasting, and monthly pay applications
• Price, submit, and track change orders and RFIs
• Manage submittals, material procurement, and deliveries
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and foremen to keep work on schedule and on budget
• Serve as the main point of contact for GCs, owners, and architects

What You'll Bring

• 5+ years of commercial construction project management experience, ideally with a drywall or interior specialty contractor
• Strong knowledge of metal framing, gypsum board, ACT, and fire-rated assemblies
• Experience managing budgets, schedules, and change orders on projects of $1M+
• Comfortable with Bluebeam, scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with GCs and owners
• Estimating experience or a Construction Management degree is a plus
