Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Drywall Finishers/Tapers for projects located in or around Buffalo, NY. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is up to $32/hour based on experience and skill level. If you are a Drywall Finisher/Taper and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career!
Job Scope:
- Tape, mud, sand, and finish drywall
- Apply joint compound and install corner bead
- Perform drywall patching and repair work
- Complete Level 4 and Level 5 drywall finishes as required
- Prepare surfaces for painting
- Perform professional painting duties when applicable to the assignment
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Follow project specifications and quality standards
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of professional drywall finishing experience
- Experience in residential and/or commercial construction
- Ability to work independently and maintain high-quality workmanship
- Must have appropriate hand tools for the trade
- Reliable transportation to and from jobsites
- Professional painting experience is a plus, but not
