Drywall Finisher

Overview

Southeast Restoration Group (SRG), a faith-based company, is seeking a skilled, resourceful, and open-minded Restoration Drywall Finisher ready to serve our customers and team with a joyful and intentional sense of urgency. This role requires hands-on problem solving and expert drywall repair and finishing skills to handle projects from start to finish while delivering the highest level of professionalism on site.

Your Impact: Key Responsibilities

1. Drywall Repair & Finishing: Perform drywall repairs and installations including patching, hanging, taping, mudding, sanding, blending, and finishing walls and ceilings to achieve a smooth, paint-ready surface.

2. Texture Matching: Accurately match and replicate existing wall and ceiling textures, ensuring seamless repairs that blend with surrounding surfaces.

3. Communication: Maintain excellent communication with the production team regarding job updates, material needs, and task completion, as well as clear and respectful communication with customers.

4. Self-Management: Manage your time and workload efficiently while proactively identifying and resolving issues that could impact project quality, timelines, or customer satisfaction.

5. Quality Control: Inspect completed work to ensure repairs meet company quality standards and customer expectations before transitioning projects to the next phase of reconstruction.

6. Attention to Detail: Consistently process and apply detailed information accurately, taking pride in precise workmanship and clean, professional finishes.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of construction experience with demonstrated multi-trade capabilities.
• Proficient or eager to grow skills in drywall, painting, trim, cabinetry, and minor flooring repairs.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment.
• Self-motivated with a positive attitude and a commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
• Ability to adapt and solve problems efficiently on the job site.
