Hours: 7:00 AM7:00 PM
Days Off: Wednesday & Sunday
Advance Services is seeking a
Dryer Operator to safely operate and monitor grain dryer equipment. This position will set up dryer bins, operate fans and burners, monitor temperature and airflow, verify equipment is operating properly, and safely shut down equipment when drying is complete.
Were looking for someone who is
dependable, safety-conscious, comfortable working around industrial equipment, and able to follow detailed operating procedures.
Job Duties for Dryer Operator:
- Follow all required safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE
- Set up dryer bins for forward or reverse airflow
- Inspect and secure bin doors and verify fill doors are properly positioned
- Start and operate dryer fans
- Operate burner controls and start burners as required
- Monitor gas valves and dryer temperature
- Monitor burner operation and verify proper flame
- Verify dryer equipment is operating properly
- Monitor dryer operation and report any concerns
- Safely shut down burners and fans
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area
- Follow all company safety, operating, and quality procedures
