Job Description:
JET FREIGHT Services is a growing, asset-based trucking company based in the Chicago area. We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated Truck Dispatcher to join our team.
This role is ideal for someone with dispatching experience who is organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate and dispatch drivers for pickups and deliveries
Book loads and negotiate rates with brokers
Plan routes and ensure efficient utilization of trucks
Monitor shipments and resolve issues in real time
Maintain consistent communication with drivers and brokers
Ensure on-time performance and high service standards
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of dry van dispatching experience (required)
Experience working with load boards such as DAT or Truckstop
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Ability to multitask and work under pressure
Detail-oriented and organized
Consolidation experience is a plus
