    Description

    Drupal Developer (Part Time Role)

    Location: Remote, Denver, CO

    Duration: 4 months

    Seeking an experienced professional with strong Drupal expertise to support the development, maintenance, security, and ongoing enhancement of web applications and website content. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Drupal CMS, front-end web technologies, Apache Solr, web hosting environments, website security, and WCAG accessibility standards.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop, maintain, and enhance websites and web applications using the Drupal platform.
    • Perform front-end development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related web technologies.
    • Support and maintain Drupal search functionality, including Apache Solr.
    • Manage and update website content using Drupal CMS.
    • Ensure websites and digital content comply with WCAG accessibility standards.
    • Maintain website security by applying appropriate updates to Drupal software and components.
    • Implement and follow website security best practices.
    • Troubleshoot issues involving website functionality, Drupal configuration, and web hosting environments.
    • Coordinate with IT support teams, stakeholders, and external vendors to resolve technical issues.

    Required Skills & Qualifications:

    • Strong hands-on experience with Drupal CMS and Drupal-based web development.
    • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
    • Experience with Drupal search technologies, including Apache Solr.
    • Knowledge of web hosting environments and website/server troubleshooting.
    • Experience managing website content through a Content Management System.
    • Knowledge of WCAG and web accessibility standards.
    • Understanding of website security best practices.
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
    • Ability to work effectively with internal technical teams, business stakeholders, and external vendors.
