Position: Drug Screen Onsite Coordinator - Clinic Location: Munsterwith Travel as needed Job Summary: Coordinates the alcohol and drug screen process in compliance with federal, state, local requirements and DOT regulations when applicable. Ensures that drug and alcohol screening results are communicated to clients/patients accurately and in a timely manner. Coordinates and performs onsite client visits for drug screens, fit testing, CPR, lab draws, Spirometry, audiograms and other associated Occupational Health services offered. Performs administrative functions and may provide staff training for substance abuse and alcohol testing. Education/Experience Requirements: High School graduate or GED equivalent required. Successful completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program required OR active current certification as a Registered Medical Assistant or Certified Medical Assistant required. One year experience as a Medical Assistant strongly preferred. Must maintain current CPR certification and TB certification. Basic understanding of medical documentation and terms; ability to spell accurately; able to accurately record information. Knowledge of OSHA recordkeeping guidelines, regulatory standards and documentation Organization skills with focus on tracking patient care and improving patient flow. Ability to multi-task efficiently and effectively. Must be able to act calmly and effectively in a busy or stressful situation. Completes annual skill validation as well as safety and infection control procedures. Excellent attitude, interpersonal skills and communication abilities necessary to interact with clients, patients, physicians, and other related associates. Exhibits leadership qualities: planning, organizing, delegating, etc. Excellent verbal and written communication; excellent problem solving abilities
