Job title: Drug Manufacturing Technician
Location: Des Plaines, IL
Duration: 12 Months with possible extension
Shift: 1st and 2nd
1st shift: 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM
2nd shift: 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM
This position is non-exempt. Hours over 40 will be paid at time and a half.
Responsible for proper maintenance and operation of drug manufacturing equipment. Accurately weighs raw materials and active ingredients and combines them into a blend. Keeps the equipment and facility clean and in a state of good repair. Participates in the completion of work orders, including batch record documentation per cGMP (current good manufacturing practice).
Accurately follows and completes documentation with minimal errors or corrections. Completes training, including cGMP and safety training in a timely manner.
Must be able to work alone or in a team and can follow procedures exactly.
Entry-level HSD or GED equivalent required.
