SUMMARY 
The Drop-In Child Care and Coworking Floater is responsible for ensuring a safe and caring space for the adults and children of Center for Transforming Lives’ participants as they access services onsite. This position is responsible for supporting the drop-in space and providing front desk support for Riverside Coworking. 

 
RESPONSIBILITIES 
        Provides quality care to children within Drop-In Child Care in accordance with agency and regulatory policies and procedures. 
        Implements processes for pick up and drop off, ensures appropriate ratios are maintained, and ensures adequate coverage for the drop-in space. 
        Partners with other CTL staff and departments to ensure care is available during times needed for participants. 
        Communicates effectively with guardians and provides reports of incidents that occur as necessary. 
        Ensures the drop-in child care space is well maintained, clean, and supports the needs of children in care. 
        Provides front desk coverage for Riverside Coworking to ensure high quality customer service and safe space oversight. 
        Other duties as assigned. 
 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE 
        Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred. 
        Three to five years of experience in an early childhood setting or other classroom setting preferred. 
 
 
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES 
        Knowledge of the Child Care Licensing Minimum Standards. 
        Knowledge of best practices in child development. 
        Knowledge of Windows operating system and Office products, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, or the ability to learn them independently and to use them. 
        Ability to learn and use any other software programs needed in the operations of CTL programs.
