Driver (Route Scout)

Oxford Solutions is working with a client seeking a reliable Roadway Video Documentation Driver for a contract assignment in the Clarion, PA area.

Short term need, but additional need could arise as new projects roll out. 

This is a field-based role primarily involving driving a pickup truck along designated routes while vehicle-mounted GoPro cameras record existing roadway conditions. Extensive field or technical experience is not required. We are looking for someone dependable who can safely complete assigned routes, follow instructions, and handle basic computer and paperwork tasks.

Responsibilities

• Drive designated routes in the I-80/Clarion area to document roadway conditions
• Operate a pickup truck equipped with GoPro cameras
• Help set up and check camera equipment before beginning routes
• Ensure assigned roadways are completely documented
• Upload and organize recorded video files
• Assist with basic permit applications, paperwork, and project documentation as needed
• Perform administrative tasks during periods when weather prevents roadway recording

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Ability to rent and operate a pickup truck
• Reliable, dependable, and comfortable working independently
• Comfortable driving for extended periods
• Basic computer and technical skills
• Ability to follow routes, instructions, and project procedures
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail

Previous professional driving, delivery, rideshare, field service, construction, or similar experience is helpful but not required.

The most important qualifications for this position are safe driving, reliability, and the ability to consistently complete assigned work.
