    About the Role

    At PSS Cross Country Infrastructure Solutions, every team member plays a critical role in delivering the products, equipment, and expertise that keep America’s infrastructure projects moving forward.

    TheDriver/Material Handleris responsible forpicking up and delivering products using company vehicles while also performing a variety of warehouse duties including receiving, storage, packaging, shipping, and distribution.This position requires safe operation of warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks. The role typically reports to the Warehouse Supervisor or Branch Manager.

    WhatYou’llDo

    Deliveries & Driving

    • Safelypick up and deliver productswithin the local branch area using company vehicles.

    • Drive company trucksto and from customers or vendors, completing deliveries on time.

    • Transport products to local customersusing company trucks and trailers (if applicable).

    • Maintain company vehiclesby keeping them clean and ensuring preventive maintenance checks are completed; promptly report issues or concerns.

    Warehouse Operations

    • Pull, stage, and prepare productsfrom designated inventory locations with accuracy.

    • Package and secure outbound shipments, ensuring products are damage-free and ready for delivery.

    • Unload incoming trucks, verify materials againstdeliverytickets, and resolve discrepancies.

    • Check vendor packing lists, update PO Stock Tickets, and accurately record inventory movements.

    • Stock and organize productsin assigned locations while keeping inventory records current.

    • Conductinventory control auditstomaintainstock accuracy.

    Equipment & Safety

    • Safelyoperatewarehouse equipmentincluding forklifts, pallet jacks, and ladders.

    • Performdaily equipment inspectionsand promptlyreportmaintenance or safety concerns.

    • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environmentat all times.

    • Consistentlyfollow company safety protocols and procedures.

    What You Bring

    • High school diploma or equivalent

    • Strong math and problem-solving skills

    • Ability to work independently and follow procedures

    • Physically able to lift 50lbsregularly and up to 70lbsoccasionally

    • Familiar with standard warehouse practices

    • CDL andForklift experience or ability to obtain certification

    • Organized, detail-oriented, and reliable

    • Clear verbal and written communication

    • Comfortable standing for extended periods

    • Basic computer skills for shipping and receiving

    • Valid driver’s license with a clean record and 3+ years of driving experience (if driving duties are)

    Eligibility Requirements

    • Proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.

    • At least 21 years of age (per DOT/FMCSA requirements).

    • Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening, where permitted by law.
