A driver helper assists the driver with deliveries and helps keep the work safe and efficient. Key responsibilities usually include:
Loading and unloading: Move goods safely and secure them properly in the vehicle.
Delivery support: Carry items to the correct location and help with pickups.
Order checks: Confirm quantities, check for damage, and report missing items.
Customer service: Treat customers professionally and follow delivery instructions.
Paperwork: Help collect signatures and maintain delivery records.
Safety and housekeeping: Use proper lifting techniques, follow safety procedures, and keep the vehicle and equipment tidy.
