Driver / Warehouse Associate

Copper State Bolt & Nut Company is seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Driver / Warehouse Associate to join our team. This position combines local delivery and pickup responsibilities with general warehouse duties when not on the road.

The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, physically active, and comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment. You will work closely with the warehouse, shipping, receiving, and dispatch teams to ensure products are delivered accurately, safely, and on time.

What You'll Do

Driving & Delivery Responsibilities

• Deliver and pick up products from customers, company branches, suppliers, and other locations.
• Follow delivery schedules and priorities established by the Warehouse Supervisor or Dispatch.
• Safely load, unload, secure, and transport products.
• Verify orders and paperwork to ensure accurate deliveries and pickups.
• Obtain customer signatures and maintain required delivery documentation.
• Use RF scanners to scan products when loading, delivering, and completing orders.
• Communicate delivery updates, delays, or issues to the appropriate supervisor.
• Follow all company driving and safety procedures.

General Warehouse Responsibilities

When not making deliveries, assist with daily warehouse operations, including:

• Pull, pack, stage, load, and unload customer orders.
• Receive and put away incoming products.
• Move and organize inventory throughout the warehouse.
• Assist with shipping and receiving activities.
• Operate RF scanners and other warehouse equipment.
• Verify product quantities and part numbers for accuracy.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse and loading area.
• Assist other warehouse team members as needed to maintain an efficient workflow.
• Perform other general warehouse duties as assigned.

Vehicle: F150 and F350

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections of the delivery vehicle and report maintenance or repair needs.
• Keep the vehicle clean and in good condition.
• Ensure required vehicle documentation, including registration and insurance information, is current.
• Report any vehicle damage, safety concerns, or mechanical issues promptly.

What We're Looking For

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid driver's license and a satisfactory driving record.
• Previous delivery, driving, warehouse, or material-handling experience preferred.
• Ability to safely operate a company delivery vehicle.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately handle paperwork and product.
• Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently while also being a team player.
• Ability to follow written, verbal, and visual instructions.
• Comfortable using RF scanners and learning warehouse systems.
• Must be safety-conscious and willing to follow all company safety procedures.

Physical Requirements

This is an active position that requires both driving and physical warehouse work.

• Ability to lift and move products weighing 50+ pounds.
• Ability to push, pull, carry, load, and unload products.
• Ability to frequently bend, squat, crouch, climb, and enter and exit a delivery vehicle.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods when performing warehouse duties.
• Ability to sit and drive for extended periods.
• Ability to work in a warehouse environment that may be noisy and require the use of appropriate PPE.
