MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/ACTIVITIES:
- Safely transport equipment to customer locations in a timely, safe and courteous manner.
- Maintain driver logs and complete pre-trip inspections.
- Follow all Mistras Operational Procedures and QC Standards.
- Adhere to all safety requirements particular to the equipment, including Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
- Maintain Truck Equipment/Inventory.
- Maintain the service and appearance of truck.
- Follow delivery/pickup instructions from management.
- Perform Shipping & Receiving duties as needed.
- Assist customers within the shop with loading and unloading product and tagging incoming orders.
- Moving orders to the various departments.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by management.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Must hold a High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Must hold a valid Driver's License.
- Training and certification in forklift preferred.
- Must have the ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must have strong customer service orientation.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with customers and coworkers.
- Physical Requirements
o Frequent holding and grasping with the hands when loading and unloading equipment and tying and chaining down equipment
o Frequent use of foot/feet to operate foot pedal/s on equipment and trucks
o Frequent lifting up to 50 lbs.; occasional lifting up to 90 lbs.
o Exposure to bright lights, extreme temperatures, loud noise, dust, gas and/or fumes
ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL FUNCTIONS:
- Frequent lifting up to 30 lbs.
