TRUCK DRIVER – CDL AFreshline Produce LLC
Freshline Produce LLC is seeking a reliable, safety‑focused CDL A Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate is experienced in transportation, maintains a clean driving record, and is committed to delivering exceptional service in a fast‑paced produce environment.
Key Responsibilities- Safely operate company trucks and trailers in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Spot trailers and trucks accurately in assigned dock doors or designated parking areas.
- Conduct pre‑trip, en‑route, and post‑trip inspections; maintain accurate documentation including temperature logs and ELD entries.
- Verify trailer conditions, including temperature settings for refrigerated loads, ensuring product integrity.
- Assist with maintaining smooth traffic flow at facility entrances and exits; direct inbound drivers to appropriate staging or loading areas.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, warehouse staff, and management regarding delays, equipment issues, or safety concerns.
- Complete assigned routes, deliveries, pickups, and additional tasks as directed.
Requirements- Valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL A).
- Clean, current driving record with a history of safe operation.
- Ability to operate tractor‑trailers, back into docks, and maneuver in tight spaces.
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELDs) and basic paperwork requirements.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as climbing into trailers, opening trailer doors, and handling equipment as needed.
- Strong attention to detail, especially regarding safety, compliance, and temperature‑controlled freight.
