Company: Wurster Engineering and Construction Employment Type: Full Time Reports to: Job Site Superintendent Location: Corporate Headquarters -- Greenville, SC JOB DESCRIPTION The Driller is responsible for ensuring that the day-to-day drilling operations progress according to the job schedule. The Driller will be in charge of maintaining the drill rig and any operational pieces, i.e., drill heads, drill steel, and any other components needed. Responsibilities: Including but not limited to: • Support the Superintendent with field management of soil nail walls, micro-piles, tiebacks, and a variety of geotechnical construction projects. • Responsibility for project production, safety, and profitability. • Ensure projects are executed with proper quality control. • Maintain, manage, and teach proper maintenance of onsite equipment. • Coordination and communication with Superintendents, Project Managers, and Operations Manager. • Report to site superintendent or foreman on any job-related progress, problems, or difficulties. • Actively engage in the construction industry general knowledge and skill development. |
