The Driller performs geotechnical drilling operations on a project basis, including operating drilling equipment, collecting subsurface data, and ensuring safe and efficient field execution. This role may support more complex drilling tasks as additional certifications and experience are gained. The Driller works primarily in the field and maintains a positive customer service attitude while demonstrating an understanding of ECS Core Values.

Required Qualifications
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Mechanical aptitude, including experience with hydraulic system repairs
Ability to read maps, follow directions, and interpret field data
Knowledge of drilling procedures and sampling methods
Hands-on experience with drill rigs, push rigs, and related equipment
Experience with GPS systems and geotechnical and environmental drilling methods
Experience with drill rigs, push rigs, drilling procedures, and sampling methods preferred
Experience with the installation of monitoring wells and piezometers
Knowledge of state and federal driving and drilling regulatory codes
