S&ME is looking for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in hands-on work, and is hard-working and reliable as a full-time Driller to join our Field Exploration team in Greensboro, North Carolina.

About The Role:
As a Driller, you'll support and coordinate drilling operations with minimal supervision from a senior driller. You'll oversee and mentor a team of driller assistants and drillers, ensuring the use of the best drilling techniques and equipment for each project. Your responsibilities will include mobilizing drill equipment, ordering project materials (with management approval), and maintaining, cleaning, and calibrating testing and inspection equipment.

About You:
You have a High school diploma or GED
You have a minimum of 3 years of Geotechnical and/or Environmental Drilling experience
You have the following Certifications/Licensure:
Commercial Driver's License (CDL), a plus
valid Driller license
You have effective communication skills (speaking, reading, and writing) in English
You understand and can perform routine vehicle and equipment maintenance
You have working knowledge of multiple drilling methods, including hollow stem auger, mud rotary, and rock coring techniques
