    Description

    EHC is currently looking for** Dredging Projects Estimator**for a client in the Houston, TX area.

    Schedule Hours:

    • 4 days in office-1 remote

    The Opportunity:

The cost estimators serve a pivotal role in planning, design, and pricing of bids for future work.We believe a successful team is comprised of mentors and coaches who support one another in learning, sharing knowledge and expertise, and encouraging growth. As a Cost Estimator you will design execution plans and develop cost estimates for large-scale offshore construction/dredging projects, with the guidance and support of a team with decades of experience. This position also provides a high-level of exposure to executive management with various growth opportunities. The position reports to the Vice President of Estimating.

    Responsibilities:

    • Produce accurate cost estimates for hard bid projects
    • Review and summarize key elements of project plans and specifications
    • Ability to produce clear, concise overview drawings for presentation and discussions
    • Ability to present the project and estimate during bid review sessions with senior management
    • Demonstrate strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability in the development of the estimate
    • Work closely with various support departments in a team environment
    • Capable of effective time-management, able to prioritize various project tasks simultaneously
    • Offer estimating support to on-site Project Managers during execution of project
    • Update and monitor project costs, production, and budget throughout construction.
    • Additional duties as assigned.

    EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Business Administration - or equivalent and relevant work experience
