Draws Coordinator (Entry-Level)

Schedule: In-office 3 days/week minimum; 5 days/week preferred

About the Role
MMTC is a commercial-purpose-only lender specializing in fix-and-flip, multi-family, and ground-up construction financing. The Draws Department manages construction and rehab loan disbursements across MMTC's portfolio, ensuring accurate, timely fund releases tied to project progress and inspection results.
This entry-level role supports the department's core draw processing and borrower-service functions, working alongside inspection review and draw disbursement staff. It's an opportunity to build a foundation in construction loan servicing within a growing department central to the company's Draws Management initiative.
Job Responsibilities
Process incoming draw requests: intake, documentation review, and data entry into cloud-based loan servicing systems
Communicate directly with borrowers and contractors by phone and email in a professional, customer service-focused manner regarding draw status, required documentation, and disbursement timing
Review and organize draw packages, inspection reports, lien waivers, and related documents (PDF/Adobe Pro, Office 365)
Track multiple loans and draw requests simultaneously across a shared queue, prioritizing by deadline and loan status
Coordinate with inspection reviewers and disbursement staff to keep draws moving through the approval pipeline
Maintain accurate, audit-ready records within the loan origination/servicing system
Escalate exceptions, delays, or borrower disputes to senior Draws staff as needed
Required Skills & Qualifications
Basic computer proficiency; comfortable operating in a cloud-based environment across browser- and app-based platforms and multiple OS types
Working knowledge of Office 365 and Adobe Acrobat Pro
Strong multi-tasking ability — comfortable managing a high-volume queue of concurrent loan files
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with customer-service orientation
Must be available to work in-office as required by management, such as a minimum of 3 days per week (5 preferred)
High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in finance, business, or a related field a plus
Prior experience in mortgage servicing, construction lending, or customer service preferred but not required
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Background check and credit review required as a condition of employment.
