Responsibilities

• Safety & Housekeeping:
  • Adhere to all safety procedures and wear required PPE.
  • Conduct crane and PIT/tugger inspections.
  • Maintain a clean and hazard-free work area.
  • Properly handle spools and bobbins.
  • Report any injuries, accidents, or unsafe conditions immediately.
• Production:
  • Follow job priorities and instructions from supervisors.
  • Ensure correct machine setup, wire flow, and color.
  • Communicate material needs effectively.
  • Prepare labels and complete necessary documentation.
  • Perform light maintenance and die changes, achieving a minimum of 10 full die changes per month.
• Quality:
  • Ensure accurate wire traceability and documentation.
  • Conduct quality checks and weld samples.
  • Identify and report non-conforming materials.
  • Quarantine questionable materials and notify supervisors.
  • Manage rejected materials according to protocol.
• Work Expectations:
  • Arrive on time and ready to work.
  • Perform only trained and authorized tasks.
  • Maintain safe, productive, and professional work habits.
  • Assist other operators and take on additional duties as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Strong commitment to safety and quality standards.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
• Experience in machine operation and maintenance.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in wire drawing or related manufacturing roles.
• Familiarity with quality control processes.
• Basic mechanical skills for light maintenance tasks.
