DOT COMPLIANCE COORDINATOR
POSITION TYPE: Full-Time, Hourly
LOCATION: Sacramento, CA
WAGE SCALE: $26.00-$29.00

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Monitoring driver qualification and processing driving records.
- Monitoring driver development (training, driver fitness, etc.)
- Oversight of GPS & dash camera systems to maximize safety (ex: GPS reports, driver safety scores, etc.)
- Monitor FMCSA performance and address specific violations with affected branches.
- Assist branches with programs to perform periodic vehicle inspections and required smoke testing.
- Assist in monitoring all aspects of DOT compliance (logbooks, hours of service, etc.)
- Maintain vehicle and equipment information in CARB databases (DOORS, TRUCRS, CTC)
- Stay up to date on regulatory changes and support improvement projects (ex: electrification, dash cams, etc.)
- Assist with contractor's equipment projects (permitting, inspections, GPS tracking, etc.)
- Track and monitor permits and registrations (DOT certification statements, hazardous materials registrations, MCP #, etc.)
- Understand and oversee trip permits, IRP, IFTA, dual state registration, etc.
- Responsible for periodic reporting on fleet safety and compliance items.
- All other duties and responsibilities assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a fleet support role
- Working knowledge of DOT and CARB regulations
- Time management and organizational skills
- Computer proficiency
- Excellent reading, comprehension, and communication skills
